Long-term protective coating that shields against UV rays, road grime, and weathering.
Detailing
RV detailing goes far beyond a simple wash. It removes road film, black streaks, and mildew while conditioning surfaces to prevent cracking and discoloration. The goal is a cleaner, brighter vehicle that’s easier to maintain throughout the season.

Sometimes RV owners ask for detailing when they actually need polishing or a coating. We’ll help you decide what fits your RV’s condition and goals.
Polishing & surface restoration
Constant sun exposure, bugs, and road debris can leave your RV’s surface looking chalky or uneven. Our polishing process removes oxidation and fine scratches, restoring a clear, uniform shine.

Our approach
Every RV’s surface condition is different:
Newer or well-maintained units usually need a single-step polish to enhance gloss and remove light haze.
Older or sun-faded units often require a multi-stage correction to fully recover color and clarity. Quotes are provided after inspection so you know exactly what’s needed.
Not sure if your RV needs a full correction or just a light polish? We’ll assess the surface and recommend the right level of service so you only pay for what’s necessary.

Included protection
Each polishing service includes a durable sealant or ceramic booster that helps protect against UV damage, fading, and oxidation for roughly 6 months. This makes it a great option for pre-trip preparation or post-season maintenance.
Why environment matters
Polishing achieves the most consistent results in a controlled environment, which is why we complete most restoration work in our shop. For larger RVs that can’t be moved, mobile service is also available and delivers the same professional-quality results.
Ceramic coatings
RV ceramic coatings create a hard, glass-like layer that locks in shine while repelling dirt, bugs, and stains for effortless cleaning. They keep your RV looking freshly detailed for years, not months.

True ceramic coatings are not sprays or waxes. They require precise preparation and professional application. We’ll guide you through which option suits your RV, your budget, and your maintenance preferences.
Wash & degrease
We start with a full exterior wash to remove road film, bug residue, and buildup, followed by a degreasing step to strip waxes and reveal the true surface condition.
Decontamination
Iron and mineral removers extract embedded contaminants from paint and fiberglass panels, leaving a clean foundation for polishing and coating.
Polishing and surface correction
Oxidation, hazing, and surface imperfections are machine-polished to create a smooth, even finish that ensures strong coating adhesion.
Coating application
High-solids ceramic is applied in small 16×16-inch sections. Each section flashes and is levelled to achieve a deep gloss and long-term protection.
Final inspection
All panels, trim, and windows are inspected for uniform coverage, even gloss, and a clean, professional finish.

Maintenance
We recommend yearly inspections and maintenance washes to keep your coating performing at its best throughout your travels.
Why environment matters
Ceramic coatings can be applied in a mobile setting, but controlled conditions help achieve the most consistent results during curing. For optimal bonding and finish quality, we recommend scheduling your coating at our Metcalfe shop whenever possible.
